Transfer
Stations Reduce Travel Time & Cost
The enactment of Subtitle D of the Resource Conservation and Recovery
Act (RCRA) has resulted in larger landfill facilities in fewer locations,
most of which are in rural areas. And since a large volume of solid
waste is generated from urban markets, it is not economical to transport
waste directly from the collection point to the landfill.
We utilize transfer stations. Thereby reducing your disposal costs.
At the transfer stations waste is consolidated, compacted and loaded
into long-haul trailers for transport to distant landfills.
This operation improves the utilization of local collection equipment
by minimizing transportation time. It also helps to efficiently
moving large volumes of waste to disposal sites. Transfer stations,
located close to where your waste is generated, have become a great
way for us to pass savings on to you.
