Today, obviously, is a day that will always be remembered. The tsunami and earthquake hit Japan and is still sending waves out to various islands and coasts around the world.

This morning I went down to Ventura to see what was happening. We were cautioned to expect some major currents and some sets of small waves and to stay out of the water. When I arrived, there were loads of surfers waiting for "the perfect wave."

This is not only due to the infrequency with which people repeat the affirmations, but also due to how our brains work and how we create habits and beliefs.

A bit of magic happened this week, as it always does! :-)

I was loading images for the website and came across this image of shells I arranged on the Tasmanian seashore 2 years ago. I named this photo "Shell Council" and had the images of shells holding a special ceremonial council in mind. Things like sweatlodge, ceremony, tribal council, etc...have always been fascinating to me and I knew one day they would have a place in my life.
